Delete your RightNow account
You can delete your RightNow account and everything in it at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent — we do not keep a copy, and there is no grace period during which we could restore it.
In the app (fastest)
Open RightNow and go to Settings → Account → Delete account, then confirm. Your account and its data are erased straight away. If you would like a copy first, Settings → Account → “Export my data” gives you a machine-readable file instantly, before you delete anything.
If you no longer have the app installed
Email privacy@rightnow.lu from the address you signed in with, or tell us the sign-in address you used, and ask us to delete your account. We will confirm once it is done — without undue delay and at the latest within one month, as the GDPR requires.
What is deleted
Everything tied to your account: your home area, your family members and their names, ages and accessibility needs, your saved spots, the feedback you have given on suggestions, and your sign-in itself. If you were the last linked person in a family, the family and anything shared within it, including its shared saved list, goes with it.
What is not deleted, and why
Nothing of yours is kept. Venue and event information does not belong to your account and stays in the catalogue, because it describes places in the world rather than you. If you consented to analytics, measurement data already sent to Google Analytics is retained by Google for at most 14 months and crash reports for 90 days, after which it is deleted automatically; it is not linked back to your erased account.
